1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Sonorous websites, mobile applications, classes, shop, fee payment, and related services (“Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. About Sonorous

Sonorous Music School provides music education (including online, offline, and hybrid formats), instruments and related products where offered, and related experiences as described on sonorous.org.in and in our communications.

3. Eligibility and accounts

● You must provide accurate registration information.

● You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account.

● We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users or our operations.

4. Classes, schedules, and conduct

● Enrollment: Placement, levels, and schedules are subject to availability and Sonorous’s academic decisions.

● Attendance and behaviour: Students are expected to attend as agreed and behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, and peers. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from a class or program.

● Online sessions: You are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection, and a safe environment for minors during online classes.

● Recordings: Unless we explicitly agree in writing, you may not record or redistribute class sessions, materials, or proprietary content without permission.

5. Fees, payments, and refunds

● Fees, taxes, and payment methods are as communicated at enrollment or on invoices.

● Refunds and cancellations follow the policy stated at the time of purchase or enrollment (including any promotional terms). Unless otherwise specified, fees for completed periods or delivered goods may be non-refundable.

● Failed payments may result in suspension of access until resolved.

6. Shop, instruments, and deliveries

● Product descriptions, prices, and availability are subject to change. We strive for accuracy but errors may occur; we may cancel or adjust orders affected by clear mistakes.

● Risk of loss and title for shipped goods pass according to our stated shipping terms and applicable law.

● Warranty or returns for physical goods follow the terms communicated at sale and applicable consumer law.

7. Intellectual property

All content we provide—curriculum, logos, branding, videos, audio, text, software, and designs—is owned by Sonorous or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use materials for personal learning in connection with enrolled classes. You may not copy, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit our Services or content except as allowed by law or with our written consent.

8. User content and communications

Where you upload content or send messages through our Services, you grant Sonorous a licence to use that content as needed to operate the Services (e.g. display in class tools, support). You represent that you have the rights to share such content and that it does not violate law or others’ rights. We may remove content or restrict features that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or law.

9. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

● Use the Services for unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or harmful purposes

● Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data

● Interfere with or overload our infrastructure

● Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

● Use automated means to access the Services in violation of our rules or robots.txt (where applicable)

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where allowed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Music education outcomes depend on individual practice and aptitude; we do not guarantee specific results.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sonorous and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if none, a nominal amount as permitted by law). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent still permitted.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sonorous from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services. We may terminate or restrict your access for breach of these Terms or legal requirements. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless a different forum is required by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance, except where stricter consent is required by law. We will indicate the updated date at the top of this document or in-app notices where appropriate.
